Last May, we were already commenting on the news that the next game in the Call of Duty saga could be and be called Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. This name could produce various thoughts, that it was simply called Cold Ward, or that it was introduced during the well-known Cold War.
Just a few weeks after this rumor emerged, their first gameplay leaked. In case you are not very focused on the subject, this well-known Cold War was a term coined by George Orwell in 1945 – shortly after the completion of World War II – due to the tensions and confrontations between the United States and the Soviet Union.
The aforementioned Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War would still be under a supposed rumor not yet confirmed or denied, but all of this has been leaked by a Doritos promotion. In this promotion, an experience bonus is offered if certain brand products are purchased.
As pointed out by ModernWarfareZone, in the promotion you can see the title and logo of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, in addition to its start and completion date: from October 5 to 31. Whether or not the date indicated coincides with the launch of the game is still to be clarified.
During the promotion, buying Doritos packs will give consumers multiplayer codes as well as being capable to accomplish a double draw for one year. The fine print shows that the ESRB rating is still pending.
On the other hand, remember that there have also been several leaks around something pronounced, Call of Duty 2020 ‘Red Door’, although perhaps it is only a code name for the listing of your alpha, or for the game itself.
