FIFA 21: Mbappe Is The Star Of The Cover In 3 Editions

FIFA 21 will be released on October 9 in three editions, all three with the image of Kylian Mbappé, the PSG star.

Kylian Mbappé is this year’s signing for the cover of FIFA 21. EA Sports has just shown the covers of its next edition of the soccer simulator, occupied by the young Frenchman.

At just 21 years old he has already won leagues with his team, Paris Saint-Germain; He was named Golden Boy in 2017 and scored one of the goals that gave the French team victory in the 2018 World Cup final.

Mbappé is the protagonist of the three editions of the game: Standard, Champions, and Ultimate, which can be booked on the EA website for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Steam platforms. It will be released on October 9, but the Champions and Ultimate editions will have early access for 3 days.

“Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true. From my Bondy epic to the World Cup to Clairfontaine, this marks another great milestone. I have played this game since I was a child and it is an honor for me to represent to a whole new generation of footballers and being in the same group as many other amazing players with whom I now share this honor, ” narrates Mbappé.

What do you think of the covers? Of course, the chosen design is surprising, in mosaic format, different from the usual in EA games. However, it seems to be the norm: This year’s UFC 4 also has very similar cover art.

It is also surprising that Mbappé is the star in all three editions. Last year, FIFA 20 featured Eden Hazard, Virgil van Dijk, and Zinedine Zidane for all three editions.

We have not yet seen a trailer for the game (beyond the teaser, in which Mbappé was one of those presents). But that will change on, July 23rd, as the first trailer for FIFA 21 will be released at 17:00.
