Epic Games wanted to encourage users of its battle royale to make use of this new mechanic that came with the premiere of its Chapter 2.
At the heights to which we are now, it would be unreasonable to think of the idea that there are some new mechanics of Fortnite they would find something unexploited compared to the importance of Epic Games gives other aspects of their battle royale as, for example, Fishing;
something that the company itself has wanted to solve in the current Season 4 by expanding, even more, everything that revolves around the act of taking a rod and throwing its hook into the water within the game.
The thing is that the people in charge of Fortnite have launched a publication through their Twitter account in which they presented a curious competition under the hashtag ‘FortniteFishing’ which consists, essentially, of encouraging the battle players royale to upload a photo with their best shots every week; being the common blue flopper that piece that Epic Games has wanted to focus on these first seven days.
Beyond this, we still do not know if the company plans to give some type of prize to those players who manage to get hold of the biggest fish of each week, so we will be very attentive to the next steps that the battle royale takes to bring you any news to shed some light on this situation.
Be that as it may, what we can assure is that we are faced with an attempt by Epic Games to resurrect one of those mechanics that made Fortnite take a true leap towards its current Chapter 2; something the company could devote even more effort to in the days and weeks to come.
