Hitman 3 To Feature A VR Mode

The latest State of Play focused on PS4, PS5 and PS VR have left a short teaser of Hitman 3 showing a new feature: compatibility with PlayStation VR.

After opening fire with Crash 4, the State of Play has given way to a brief teaser, of just one minute, of the new IO Interactive, Hitman 3, which was presented relatively recently confirming its arrival on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X, in addition to the PC.

Today, it has been confirmed that Hitman 3 will be compatible with PS VR and that we will be able to play the entire adventure, from start to finish, with the Sony viewer, in the first person, which will undoubtedly shoot by 1000 the immersion of the game.

In the brief trailer, it has been possible to see how Agent 47 enters an ultra-detailed building set in an Arab country, plagued by NPCs, and after wandering briefly through a wide room, he begins to follow a target, until he veers towards a small toilet and readies his iconic choke rope, behind the back of a security guard.

Only that was enough to imagine the sensations that playing in the first person will offer. Nothing else has been confirmed, if this option will be on PS5 (whose plans for VR remain unknown) or if it will be an exclusive PS4 feature.

Similarly, the teaser concludes by confirming that PlayStation VR compatibility will not be limited to Hitman 3 and that the entire Assassination saga will be playable from start to finish in virtual reality.
