Microsoft To Get Bethesda Softworks For $7.5 Billion

In what is set to be one of the greatest ever purchase in the video game industry, Microsoft declared Monday that it has gained a deal to acquire ZeniMax Media, the parent brand of famous video game publisher Bethesda Softworks for $7.5 billion.

At the time the deal is done and  Bethesda possessions along with The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein will be owned by Microsoft. The quake, Starfield, and DOOM too. These series will be involved in the Xbox Game Pass, a membership-based fee cloud gaming service that has topped 15 million subscribers.

The Bethesda deal is supposed to be fixed in the second half of the fiscal year 2021. With the add up of Bethesda, Microsoft will grow up to 23 teams for studio and will be adding Bethesda’s iconic franchises to Xbox Game Pass shared by Microsoft.
