Nintendo – Which To Choose for Ultimate Gaming Experience

Since its release in 2017, the Nintendo Switch has enjoyed a successful six-year reign. The Switch is a hybrid between console and handheld device, combining the two markets to create a truly unique selling point. This, together with a range of brilliant games that have come from Nintendo themselves and third-party developers, helped to catapult the system into the hands and homes of many adoring fans. With all these options, you may be wondering which ones you should try out. This list shows you some of the best Nintendo Switch games to consider.

Luigi’s Mansion 3

A fun example of popular gaming apps is the original GameCube version of Luigi’s Mansion didn’t quite know where its USP was. It had lots of ideas thrown together. Nearly a decade later, the developers of the next version in the series, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, had figured out how to make the spooky adventure as charming as possible.

In the Nintendo Switch’s version of Luigi’s Mansion, the green anxious hero sets out to try and rescue his friends and family from a haunted hotel. With the help of his Poltergust G-00 vacuum and new friend, Gooigi, Luigi makes his way through a mix of environmental puzzles. They do this using creative combat against a range of ghosts and a multitude of themed floors transporting players to medieval arenas and botany areas. The jokes are all hilarious, and the zany animations and self-referential jokes only help make the game even funnier.

Mario 3D World & Bowser’s Fury

Way before the Switch was even released, Super Mario 3D World had cemented itself in the Nintendo universe as a favorite. The Wii U was perhaps the best console for this game and the entire franchise. Throughout the game, you were greeted with creative designs, chaotic multiplayer activities, and some of the best power-ups Mario was lucky enough to get his hands on. The downside was that this game was exclusive to a console that didn’t really hit the ground running in terms of popularity and sales.

It would have been an easy switch for Nintendo to simply transfer the game onto the Switch without making any changes to the gameplay, and fans would have still been very happy. This game, on its own, is one of the best to hit the Nintendo franchise and was sure to be a hit on the Switch. Nintendo didn’t opt for the simple option, though. They upped the game by adding Bowser’s Fury in a brand-new adventure-packed mini open-world game.

You can think of it as a smaller version of Super Mario Odyssey. Despite the freebie status, Bowser’s Fury is one of the best offerings in the franchise. This makes Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury one of the best titles you can get for your money on the Nintendo Switch. Players are getting the joy of two of the best games in the entire Nintendo umbrella and the Mario franchise, with over 50 hours of content that is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end. This package is a definite must-have for all Switch owners.

Metroid Prime – Remastered

Metroid Prime was one of the star releases for the GameCube. After 20 years, it has been remastered and rereleased, and it holds up amazingly! Samus’ first adventure in the 3D world plays exactly how you remember, but now it is filled with the modern visuals you have come to expect with new releases. The adventure still holds up despite the industry’s rapid development of games.

Neon White

If you’re a lover of first-person shooters, Neon White is one of the most unique options available on the Nintendo Switch. This game combines elements of puzzles and shooter mechanics to create something entirely different. The aim here is to move around the lovely stages as fast as possible while clearing out all of the enemies in the process. Sound easy? Well, the catch is that you have access to a selection of cards that allow special abilities to be used, helping you get through each level. Players are motivated to achieve a faster pace through the speed-based ranking system in Neon White. The artwork on this game is beautiful and vibrant. It really pops on the screen.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Nintendo has always had great Pokemon games, and things haven’t changed on the Switch either. Few Pokemon games on the Switch are better than Scarlet and Violet. While these games aren’t the easiest on the eyes, they are one of the most refreshing entries to the Pokemon world in over ten years.

As a result of the open-world pivot, players have more freedom to explore the Paldea region in any order they see fit and to complete the Gyms within it. There are fewer restrictions in place compared to previous games, giving players greater freedom to carve their own paths and create a storyline of their own. In addition, the games feature a huge variety of Pokédexes, making it one of the best Pokémon games for those who enjoy catching ’em all.

Final thoughts

Overall there are many games that you can enjoy on the Nintendo Switch, more than we could ever mention, but with these five titles, you are sure to have started your gaming collection on a very high level. The Nintendo Switch has something for everyone, making it one of the greatest consoles available on the market today.
