Red Dead Online: How To Unlock Naturalist Role?

Finally, seven months after the introduction to liquors in  Red Dead Online, a new role is introduced. This is the role of a naturalist, which as its name suggests, revolves around animals. Trace them and study them peacefully or hunt them down to use their skins. You choose.

The first thing you have to do, once the new free update has been installed, is to go to the town of Strawberry. At City Hall, you will meet the two key characters in this update: Harriet Davenport and Gus Macmillan.

Harriet is an accomplished ecologist looking for helpers to track and search for animals and capture them (alive) so she can study them. On the other hand,  Gus is a retired hunter who will offer you quality clothes and other luxurious objects made with the skins of the animals you hunt.

After seeing a heated discussion, Harriet will sell you her research notes for 25 gold bars. Thus begins your trade, which will lead you to track, investigate, and sometimes capture animals so that Harriet can study them. You can also hunt them down and give them to Gus, though apparently Harriet will find out and she won’t like it.

There are two types of rewards in the naturalist role. As in all roles, you will get a reward for leveling up (there are 20 levels and 4 ranks). In addition, each of the 4 ranks unlocks some kits with additional rewards that you can unlock in exchange for tokens.
