The Cobra Kai game confirmed for consoles will make the leap in October.

Cobra Kai, the direct sequel to the original  Karate Kid film released in 1984, was streaming on YouTube Premium, finally moving to Netflix in its third season. It looks like it will even get its own video game adaptation on October 27 for consoles.

As reported from IGN, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues will be a side-moving beat ’em up for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

The starring characters of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence will be voiced by the original actor’s Ralph Macchio and William Zabka across all the levels of the new Cobra Kai game.

On the other hand, newcomers Robby, Miguel, and Hawk will also be part of the fighters’ roster and will not be left out. Reportedly, there will be a skill tree that the player has to improve during his progress in the story mode.

Cobra Kai will have more than 28 story missions, including bosses a showdown with John Kreese seems inevitable, and players will have to complete the story arc of both dojos to reach the real endgame. GameMill Entertainment serves as the developer for the Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues.

The first two seasons of Cobra Kai are scheduled to arrive on Netflix this August, and its launch trailer has already been shown on the platform.
