Compared to its 2019 figures, the first half of the current year has been dramatically enhanced by the arrival of Geralt to the Japanese hybrid.
Although the announcement of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Nintendo Switch initially raised more doubts than expectations, Geralt of Rivia’s arrival on the Big N console ended up being a great success.
In this sense, in April it was reported that this version led the financial results of CD Projekt RED during 2019, helping to stimulate its income during the past year and solidifying itself as a more than a profitable project for its managers. However, the influence of the Brujo in the Polish studio economy has not been exclusively closed to those dates but has extended until 2020.

Specifically, after the disclosure of the company’s latest financial results, PC Games Insider has recorded that, throughout the first half of the current calendar, CD Projekt RED has increased its revenues by 70% in relation to the same period of the last year. This, it should be noted, translates into 97 million dollars in profits – 39.2 million more compared to the first half of 2019, with The Witcher 3 toward Nintendo Switch being the most decisive product to achieve this, followed by the port of GWENT to mobile devices and Thronebreaker to Nintendo Switch.
In this way, The Witcher 3 has shown once again that the quality of its proposal knows no limitation whatsoever, and continues to achieve incredible milestones even after five years of availability. A quality that will surely be a hit again in the future when it is updated for free for PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.
