The Witcher 3: Everything Known So Far

Every good fan of the Polish studio CD Projekt RED will be with their sights set on a highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. And yes, they are still working on the crazy and futuristic game to bring it as polished as possible on November 19.

However, today they have revealed that this is not the only title they are working on. Nor is it that they are doing a new work as such, but they have confirmed that one of the best games of the generation, The Witcher 3, is on its way to the new generation of consoles.

As they have announced through social networks and the official website of The Witcher 3, the sorcerer Geralt of Rivia will be seen in better quality than ever on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The holders of the title for PS4 and Xbox One will receive a free update for the new consoles.

As if that were not enough, the PC version of the game will also receive an update to incorporate a series of improvements.

The Witcher 3 improvements for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC

  • The most important improvement is the Ray Tracing, which already aims to be a standard in many titles of the new generation of consoles.
  • Something very criticized in The Witcher 3 is its long loading times. Thanks to the SSDs that the new consoles will incorporate, these loading times will be considerably reduced, either in the expansions or in the base game.

Unfortunately, we still have to wait a little longer for CD Projekt RED to launch the new version of the title on the market, as they have confirmed that it will be in 2021.
