Warner Bros Games Is Not For Sale, Warns CEO Jasan Kilar

So from now on, all companies interested in acquiring Warner Bros Games will have to put that dream behind them.

Last July, certain rumors began to emerge around Warner Bros Games, the games division of Warner Bros., as several companies had expressed some interest in its purchase. Specifically, the first of them at the beginning of that month was Microsoft and at the end of the same month Electronic Arts “more interested than ever”.

But that will not happen, since in a letter about the future of the company, the CEO of WarnerMedia Jason Kilar, clarifies: ” Warner Bros. Interactive remains as part of the studios and groups, along with our global brands and franchises. which include DC led by Pam Lifford, all focused on continuing to engage fans with our creations in games and other interactive experiences”.

On the other hand, Kilar himself recently had an interview with the Deadline portal about the company’s expansions. In these, disparate topics were discussed, such as the inclusion and expansion of the company to a more global market, apart from the already well-known HBO Max service.

Kilar responded this way: “Additionally, we have a very strong team of around 2,000 software developers, who are continuously telling interactive stories. The opportunity to launch into a global market is very, very excellent.”

Does this mean that next August 22 during the DC FanDome we will see something new from Warner Bros Games?

Suicide Squad game is now official: Rocksteady confirms its next title and will show it during the DC fandom.

Presumably, we will have to wait a little longer, until that date, to find out new details.

So far everything we know at the moment about the ‘Warner Bros Games’. We will update this article as new details become known so if you want to stay up to date on the news, stay tuned to  nintendoinquirer”.
